Felted and Furry

In spite of two days of rising before the rooster crows, I was awake and primed for knitting last night. I can't even bring myself to address the fact that I now live so far outside of Manhattan that animals are the preferred alarm clock.

On to the fun! Last night, Teri of the mini sock coin purse gave me an adorable felted bag for my Mini iPod.

It's the perfect autumnal palette for me. She included a longer cord should I desire to carry my iPod down low. Even Snickers digs the felted Noro Kureyon. Being a cat person herself, I'm sure Teri will understand if I share the unused portion of my birthday goodies with a certain little furry cutie.

It sure beats chipmunks on the doorstep!

As an aside to The Keeper-curious amongst you, I'm not convinced. The removal was as difficult as the placement. I'm not the squeamish sort, but it was a bit painful. I'm not certain that this is the ideal method should you need to "change" in a public restroom -- 'Oh, pardon me while I wash this out before using it again." -- as I'm not a fan of private grooming and private conversations becoming public domain.
