100 Things (More or Less)

1. Born June 21, 1966 in Pittsburgh, PA.

3. I am an only child.
4. Currently, I live with my partner and his two teenage boys in the Mid-Hudson Valley in New York State.
5. Other places I have lived: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhasset, NY; New Orleans, LA, Philadelphia, PA; Seattle, WA; Manchester, England; and Florence, Italy.
6. I swear by Color Me Beautiful and wear the Soft Autumn palette.
7. I finally taught myself to knit in December 2003 to stave off boredom during a period of unemployment. Two earlier attempts included my aunt showing me how to knit, and then lending me books, yarn, and needles.
8. I have visited 42 of the 50 states. Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine are the states I haven’t visited, although, I question not visiting Michigan.
9. I have visited the Canadian Provinces and Territories: Ontario, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, and Yukon.
10. I quit a "dream" job in the fashion industry to move to Italy and study Italian.
11. I quit smoking 10 years ago, but I still have a cigarette from time to time.
12. I was a pretentious smoker: I smoked filterless and I often used a 12" cigarette holder!
13. Food items I eat regularly: pasta, cheese, honey.
14. My best friend, Dean, has been my friend since age 5.
15. I am a cosmetics junkie, but I wear very little makeup.
16. I long to find a job that fulfills my desire to be creative, to make a difference, and to make enough money to live simply.
17. I worked in cosmetics for six months, and it nearly killed my love of cosmetics.
18. I am a lapsed Catholic, but I am a believer.
